How we work
- 1
Evaluation Free
A short intake form, then a 30-minute video call about how patients reach your practice today and what they call about. You get first findings, and a clear answer on whether a portal is worth it.
- 2
Analysis
A look at your phone system’s call history (RingCentral, Zoho Voice and the like), your help desk and your EHR, all under a signed BAA: what patients call about, when, and how much of it they could do themselves. Then what each system can connect to, and what it can’t. You get a plan with which tasks move online, which connections are possible, and at what cost.
- 3
Build and launch
The portal under your practice’s name, connected where the plan says it can be, and hosted on Microsoft Azure in a US region. Your team learns to run it. You get call counts and after-hours bookings before and after, so you see what changed.
What patients can do on their own
Patients don’t wait for office hours. Your portal shouldn’t make them.
Four things patients most often call about. The plan shows which ones your practice needs, and under which of your rules.
Book a first visit
Within your rules: which visit types, with which provider, and how far ahead.
Fill in intake forms
Each patient sees only the questions that apply to them. The answers reach your team before the visit.
Move or cancel a visit
Up to the cut-off you set. The freed slot can go to another patient the same evening.
See what’s still missing
Forms, records or insurance details due before the visit, in one place.
More on patient portals
How we built a patient portal for a psychiatry practice
A practice in Arizona with four providers. Patients book, fill in forms and change visits online, and almost half of it happens after closing time.
